The First Step

Applications will be based on business viability, start-up costs & financial independence or access to funding, dedication and determination for success. Please note that due to limited availability not all applications will be accepted.

Phase I – Meeting with the Project Manager

1. Complete the Stepping Stones Application Form
2. Email completed form to Jenn Galan, Interim Project Manager at jgalan@vianet.ca
3. Once received the Project Manager will review your application and reply to set up a meeting
4. Bring all materials relevant to your proposed business to the meeting. i.e.: portfolio, sample product, prototype (confidentiality assured).
5. The meeting provides you with the opportunity to present your business idea, your background and your commitment

Phase II – Business Plan

1. Once your proposed business is reviewed by the Project Manager, you will be asked to submit a Business Plan including financial forecasts to be reviewed by our Advisory Committee.
2. You may be asked to meet with the Advisory Committee to further discuss your Business Plan.

Phase III – Decision

1. A decision regarding your application will be made in a timely fashion.
2. You will then be advised of the Advisory Committee’s decision in writing.
